The DEFINE Innovation Hub filled up once again as the teams of the spring 2026 accelerator met each other on 19 March 2026. Twelve teams from around Europe took part in the day-long programme, which began at the Riihimäki garrison. The traditional kick-off event then continued at the DEFINE Innovation Hub in Riihimäki, attended not only by the teams but also by the accelerator’s coaches and members of the DEFINE network. The event was organised in cooperation with VTT and NATO DIANA.

In addition to the new accelerator teams briefly introducing themselves and their solutions, the afternoon programme included several expert talks. These were given by Lieutenant Colonel Jukka Nikkilä from the Defence Command, Nicholas Nelson from Archangel Ventures, Henri Kivioja from RAIN Global Oy and Rasmus Basilier from Millog Oy.
