The event is organised by Robosota Ry in cooperation with DEFINE, the City of Riihimäki and the Union of Professional Engineers.

Get ready for an action-packed weekend with battle robots in Riihimäki! For the first time ever, Finland’s battle robotics association Robosota is joining forces with the City of Riihimäki, Finland’s “capital of robotics education”, and Häme University of Applied Sciences. The Robosota tournament is open to everyone. In addition to the normal Robosota tournaments, we are organising, in cooperation with the city and the university of applied sciences, a Hackathon aimed at students of Riihimäki’s lower secondary school and Häme University of Applied Sciences – and we have made it quite interesting!

Because of the Hackathon, the entire event is two days long, and the normal Robosota tournament will exceptionally be held on Sunday.

Spectators are welcome free of charge.

Arrival

The event venue, DEFINE Innovation Hub, is next to Riihimäki railway station (200 m); we recommend arriving by train.

A few parking spaces are available outside the event venue, and more parking space can be found in the Peltosaari parking area. From the Peltosaari parking area there is an underpass connection to Veturitallit, the railway station and the DEFINE hub (5-minute walk).
