We are looking for a partner to implement a business accelerator focused on dual-use technologies. The tendering process for the dual-use accelerator has thus begun: we invite experienced accelerators to operate Finland’s first dual-use accelerator.

The accelerator activities aim to improve the growth and internationalisation opportunities of startups and SMEs operating in Kanta-Häme in particular. The accelerator’s goal is to help the participating companies achieve rapid growth. During the one-and-a-half-year contract period, three training programmes will be carried out at separately agreed times. The first programme is due to begin in autumn 2024.

The tendering of the dual-use accelerator is part of the DEFINE dual-use technology business accelerator project, which is co-funded by the European Union for the period 1 April 2024 – 31 March 2026. The main implementer of the project is the City of Riihimäki. Riihimäki offers an excellent platform for a business accelerator focused on dual-use technologies. The accelerator is targeted especially at the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises operating in the high-technology field.
