The City of Riihimäki and Millog Oy are jointly organising the DEFINE Hackathon seminar in Riihimäki in September. The seminar provides insight into dual-use and defence sector startup opportunities in Finland, especially in Riihimäki and the entire Kanta-Häme region. The seminar opens a three-day hackathon event in which we challenge start-ups and innovators to leverage common civilian technologies to meet the needs of both the defence and non-defence sectors. Guest speakers at the event include representatives of VTT, PIA ry (the Finnish Defence and Aerospace Industries), the Finnish Defence Forces and FiBAN (Finnish Business Angels Network).
